Lawrence Turner, 96, a native of Detroit and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, February 10.
He is survived by his son, Joel Turner; daughter, Nola Thibodaux and husband David; special friend, Virgie LeBeouf; grandsons, Chad Thibodaux and wife Courtney, Blair Thibodaux and James Dupre; great-grandsons, Jace and Brandson Thibodaux; and son-in-law, Jerry Dupre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naise Levron Turner; parents, Bruce and Louisa Turner; daughter, Nina Dupre; brother, Fred Turner; and sisters, Burnetia, Pauline and Lavrnia Turner.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a memorial service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
