Michael “Iron Head” Jupiter, 55, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Friday, July 31.
He is survived by one daughter, Chelise Jupiter of Gonzales, La.; one son, Darrick Jupiter of Napoleonville; one brother, Jerome Jupiter of Napoleonville; five sisters, Adele Baker, Dianne Moore, Carol Jupiter, Velma Jupiter and Karen Chevis and husband Ronald, all of Napoleonville; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Heloise and Melvin Jupiter; two brothers, Melvin Jr. and Sam Jupiter; and one brother-in-law, Kenneth Moore Sr.
He was a retired certified mechanic.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 6, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 7, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church with interment at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
