Kane Paul Dempster Sr., 49, a native of Des Allemands, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Thursday, August 6, at 5:50 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Mayeux Dempster; father, Celastin Dempster Sr.; two sons, Kane Dempster Jr. and Curtis Ledet Jr. and wife Shannon; two brothers, Celastin “C.J.” Dempster Jr. and Marvin Dempster Sr.; one sister, Dianna Ledet; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Bourgeois Dempster; one son, Benjamin Dempster; and one sister, Sarah Dempster.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, August 7, and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
