Mandated therapy may better serve divorcing couples, counselor says

Ora Mae Celestine, 51, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. funeral time Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006 at New Zion Baptist Church.


She is survived by her father, Thomas Celestine; her son, Tony “Carla” Celestine; her daughters, Lyntette Joseph, Gena and husband, Kerwin Johnson, Jr.; her brothers, Irvin “Daisy” Celestine, Ernest “Diane” Celestine, C.W. Celstine and Rufus Celestine; sisters, Lois “Julius” Ruffin and Dorothy Celstine, and 9 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rose Celestine; her sister, Barbara Celstine, and her grandparents, Sidny Celestine, Celina Carter, and Louis Adams.

She was a retired C.N.A. and an usher at the New Zion Baptist Church.
