Wayne Carroll Antill, 69, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma, died Monday, June 25, 2007 at 7:30am.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at First Baptist Church of Houma. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

He is survived by his mother, Pearl Jackson Antill; one son, Chris Antill and his wife Pamela; one sister, Gwen Antill LeBlanc and her husband Robert; one brother, Ray Antill and his wife Mary; two grandsons, Andrew Christopher Antill and Nicholas Joel Antill; one sister-in-law, Patricia Harvey Boutwell and her husband, M.J.; and one sister-in-law, Judy Harvey Orgeron and her husband Freddie.


He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Antill; and his wife, Brenda Harvey Antill.

Wayne was a devout Methodist. He served as a U.S. Marine and was retired from the water-conditioning business that he owned for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Krewe of Cleophas and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice, 195 Corporate Drive, Houma, La 70360.

Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
