Walter Davis Jr., 70, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Tampa, Fla., died Monday, June 13, 2011.
Mr. Davis was Baptist and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Davis; sons, Shane and Walter Davis III; daughter, Desiree Davis; brothers, Wilbert and Edward Davis; sister, Clara Robinson; and grandson, Zavier Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. and Leola Davis; daughter, Yolanda Davis; brothers, James and Harold Davis; and sister, Dorothy Davis.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Moses Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Old Moses Cemetery. (Kennedy)
