Brenda Richardson, 49, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, May 3, 2007.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Labadieville, La. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Henderson Triggs Jr. of Thibodaux; four daughters, Kynisha T. Ford and husband, Devon, Lanisha Triggs, Natkia Joseph and Yvonne Triggs, all of Thibodaux; five brothers, Wilbert Miles of New Orleans, La., James Miles and wife, Lisa, and Frank Miles of Thibodaux, Oliver Richardson and wife, Audrey, of Labadieville and Raymond Thomas and wife, Dorothy; five sisters, Gertrude Neff and husband, Roy, of Jacksonville, Fa., Linda Fleming, Penny Richardson and Betty Herbert and husband, Larry, of Thibodaux and Joyce Miles of Schriever, La.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Miles Richardson and Clarence Thomas; two sisters, Mary Jane Thomas and Debra Johnson; and three brothers, Harold Richardson, Abraham Richardson and Joseph Thomas.

She was Baptist.
