Barry Paul Crochet, 57, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011.
Mr. Crochet enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an avid reader and also enjoyed watching New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger football. He was a joker and was always telling stories, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Amy LeBlanc, Sherell (Matthew) Giroir and Barry Johnson; brothers, Tracy (Mary), Scott (Julie), Ched, Eric and Dwight (Kathy) Crochet; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.J and Evella Crochet.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Twin City Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
