The bayou’s dirty little secret: ‘Cajun Justice’ basks in mystique

Wilma Mae Harding Taylor, 96, a native of Philomont, Va., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:25 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012.


She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mecklen Taylor; son, James (Brenda) Taylor; stepdaughter, Karen Taylor; sister, Ruth Steger; granddaughter, Claudia (Mike) Ryder; and great-grandchildren, Chloe’ and Griffin Ryder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ora Harding; sisters, Flora Cheseldine, Mable Doyle, Margaret Taylor, Viloa Murphy, Thelma and Katherine Harding and Rose Collins; and brothers, Stacy, John, Chester and Richard Harding. (Chauvin)
