Hilda J. Borne, 85, a native of London, England and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Richard and David Borne; daughter, Barbara Lirette; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Borne; parents, Thomas and Maude Jonas; sons, Edward, Robert and Kerry Borne; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
