Through Aug. 5, at Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts. (337) 828-2787. Tickets are $20. Based loosely on the 1957 memoirs of striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, the play follows Momma Rose’s efforts to groom her two daughters for the stage. It casts an affectionate eye on the hardships of show business life. Includes memorable tunes “Small World,” “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” “Let Me Entertain You” and “Rose’s Turn.”
