11th annual Cajun/Zydeco Music and Dance Exhibit, through April 28, in cases on the first and second floors in the Ellender room, Ellender Memorial Library. Artworks created for the Louisiana Wetlands Art Competition.

Parade of Talent, April 1, at Talbot Theater, 3 p.m. Hosted by the Thibodaux Music Club, the variety show raises funds for scholarships. Tickets are $3 for adults, $1 for students.


Dr. William H. Chapman Nyaho, April 2, at Talbot Theater, at 7:30 p.m. The pianist and visiting associate professor at Colby College in Maine, reflects his diverse background as a native of Ghana of west Africa educated at Oxford University, the Conservatoire du Musique de Geneve in Switzerland and the University of Texas at Austin.
