The Sanders clan from “Smoke on the Mountain” gathers for a get-together at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in North Carolina to send one of its members off to battle shortly before the attack on Pearl Harbor. It’s one last chance to sing mountain songs, tell stores and witness to the faith.
