The Lafourche Parish Council voted at the November 28, 2023 council meeting to dispense with the regularly scheduled council meeting scheduled for December 26, 2023. The council has traditionally not meet for this meeting.
A motion was made by Daniel Lorraine to dispense with the meeting and seconded by Terry Arabie. The council voted unanimously in favor of dispensing the December 26, 2023 meeting.
The next Lafourche Parish Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Mathews Government Complex at 4876 Highway 1, Mathews, Louisiana. Agenda items are due to the Council Clerk’s office by 12pm noon on the Monday of the week prior to the Council Meeting.
