July 4th holds a special place in the hearts of Americans as it symbolizes the birth of a nation built on the principles of liberty, democracy, and independence. To celebrate this special occasion, we are fortunate to have two local, family friendly events featuring music, activities for kids, a spectacular fireworks display, and more! Join the fun in Houma or Thibodaux at the following celebrations:


Good Earth 4th of July Festival | July 4 from 12:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. | Bayou Country Sports Park, Houma – Celebrate our freedom, our good Earth, and fun times with live music, local food, fun and games! Join the all-new Independence Day tradition culminating with a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Read more here.

 

Let Freedom Ring Festival | July 4 from 3:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. | Peltier Park, Thibodaux – Celebrate Independence Day with a fun-filled afternoon including food, shopping, live music, a cake walk, a cornhole tournament, an auction, and a bike parade and contest!  Be sure to stay for the fireworks display at 9 p.m. Read more here.
