The Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild is excited to present their new event, “Van Geaux in the Park!” This artist-led activity will take place outside the Houma Courthouse on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

“This activity will allow community members to paint two of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous paintings, Starry Night or Sunflowers, led by our director Margaret Chouest,” explained Michelle Eroche with the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild, who is organizing this event. “Everyone is different, and we encourage any and all art-lovers to come out and put their artistic spin on these master works. We are looking forward to the event, and if it goes well, we are really hoping to do more in the future!” Van Geaux in the Park is open to all artistic skill levels.

Participants can register for this event for a fee of $20, which will cover all materials, including your 16×20″ canvas, paints, water, easel, and more. Those interested can register at 630 Belanger Street in Houma. In the event of inclament weather, the event will be moved inside the Terrebonne Fine Art Guild’s location. There are only 25 spots available, so don’t hesitate!
