French Food Festival October 27 – 29 Larose– Celebrate Cajun food and culture with over 40 food booths, music, dancing, an auction, Cajun market, petting zoo, contests, and a race. There’s something for everyone at the 48th annual festival.

BCCM Bitty BOOseum October 27 at 10 a.m. BCCM– Join the Bayou Country Children’s Museum for spooktacular fun at the Bitty BOOseum! Bring your little one to enjoy crafts, games, and, most importantly, treats! Purchase tickets here.

Fletcher Fall Fest Trunk-R-Treat October 27 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Fletcher campus, Schriever– Please join Fletcher on Friday, for their Fall Fest Trunk-R-Treat event at their main campus in. Hay rides, inflatables, food, face painting, trick-or-treating, and pumpkin patch fun! This event is FREE and open to the public.


Monsters On Main October 27 from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. Downtown Thibodaux– Bring your little ghosts and  ghouls for a fun and free evening of trick-or-treating with participating businesses.

Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild Artist of the Month Reception October 27 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild– The Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild will host a reception on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. to honor their October Artist of the Month, abstract and multi-media artist Geri Douglas.

Trick or Treat in the Swamp October 27 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. South Terrebonne High School-Bring the kiddos out of a night of fun in the “Swamp”! All children’s must be supervised by an adult. Concessions will be available.


Trunk or Treat – Oakshire PTC October 27 from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Oakshire Elementary School– Join the trunk or treat fun with a trunk decorating contest, trick or treating, concessions, and tweets by Kona Ice and Bayou Lemon Lemonade!

Horrors on Hwy 1 Haunted House October 27 from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. Lockport Rec Center– The festive night of fun will include a hayride, maze, and other activities. All ages welcomed. Admission is $5 per person.

Halloween Trivia Night October 27 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Mudbug Brewery– Calling all trivia buffs and Halloween enthusiasts! Join aspooktacular evening of Halloween-themed trivia! Prizes await the top trivia masters, so come prepared to show off your knowledge of all things eerie, from classic horror movies to creepy creatures of the night. Dressing up in your most spellbinding costumes is highly encouraged!


Bayou Arts Fest October 28 from  10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Downtown HoumaExplore Houma has merged the White Boot Stroll with the Bayou Arts Fest and Voice of the Wetlands to bring you a jammin’ festival surrounding our Cajun culture and heritage at one family friendly event. Don’t miss out on a day filled with music, art, food, and fun as we celebrate all our area has to offer! 

Houma Pumpkin Patch October 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Living Word Church-The Pumpkin Patch will include pumpkins to choose from, hayrides, a life-sized corn maze, free games, a petting zoo courtesy of Cheramie Farms, LLC, and a corn pit. There will also be beignets, burgers, hot dogs, jambalaya, hot dogs, fried chicken, and more for everyone to enjoy.

Trick or Treating at Ochsner October 28 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Ochsner St. Anne Hospital– In the back parking lot at the hospital, there will be trick or treating, games, crafts, face painting and balloon art, and kids costume contest for $5 per child. All proceeds to go to American Cancer Society.


Fall Festival – Chick•fil•A East Houma October 28 from11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Chick-fil-A, East Houma-Join us for lunch and celebrate fall with Cheramie Family Farms petting zoo, crafts and games. Feel free to wear your favorite costumes for a chance to win a prize!

Acadia Music Fest October 28 12:00 PM – 11:30 PM Thibodaux– The Acadia Music Fest will feature MJ Dardar Band, The Runtz, Icarus Jones, Little John & The Dirty Clarks, George Birge, Niko Moon, Better Than Ezra, and Marcus King at Thibodaux’s largest outdoor music festival. The Acadia Music Fest will also feature local artists, delicious food, and a Kid’s Korner.

Trunk or Treat at The Veterans Memorial Wall October 28 from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Veterans Memorial Wall, Cut Off– Join the fun with more treats than tricks and let your little one fill their pumpkins with delight!


Trunk or Treat – Peltier Park October 28 from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Peltier Park– The Lafourche Parish Head Start program and The City of Thibodaux Recreation Department will host a drive thru trunk or treat at 151 Peltier Park Drive to raise awareness for Autism/Special Needs community members. The event is drivetrains e though only and the treats are pre packaged. Please call 985-446-7235 to reserve your treat bag.

Halloween Fall Festival October 28 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. The Broadway Rehab and Living Center– The Fall Festival will take place in the front parking lot. If you would like to donate to the event or be a part of the trunk or treating contact Courtney Carrere at 504-329-9646.

Trunk or Treat – Raceland October 28 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Central Market Pavilion, Raceland– Hosted by the  Lafourche Fire District 1, Lockport Fire District, Vacherie/Gheens Fire Dept. and in conjunction with the TAA Goes Hog Wild Event, the afternoon will offer activities galore, a costume contest and a patient pumpkin contest. Admission is $5 and includes one serving and a drink.


Trunk R Treat – St. Hilary of Poitiers October 28 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. St. Hilary of Poitiers, Raceland– Join in for a sweet night of fun as you walk though the parking lot and fill your bucket with trinkets and treats!

Shooting Stars 4th annual Trunk or Treat October 28 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. 1620 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux-Experience a delightful evening of fun as you stroll through the parking lot, gathering an assortment of trinkets and treats to fill your pumpkin to the brim!

Trunk or Treat – St. Joseph Co-Cathedral October 28 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM St. Joseph Co-Cathedral After trunk or treating at 6 p.m. families are invited to gather in the Life Center for fun, food and refreshments. Children ages 0-12 who are in costume or Halloween clothing will get a prize while supplies last. All children must be accompanied by an adult. There will also be carnival games, a popcorn bar and crafts.


Horrors on Hwy 1 Haunted House October 28 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM Lockport Rec Center– A little bit of tricks and a few treats! Fun for the whole family, even if you don’t want to go through the haunted house! Guests can also enjoy a fun kiddie maze, hayride, photo ops, face painting and concessions.

The Patch Cook-Off October 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Living Word Church– Garb a delicious bite to eat at the The Houma Pumpkin Patch Cook-Off! Tickets are $12 and all tastings and a drink are included. Tickets are limited and can be purchased in the LWC Foyer on Oct. 29 from 9-9:30 a.m., then again at the Patch at 11:30 a.m.

St. Louis Fall Bazaar & Trunk or Treat October 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. St. Louis Church– Following mass, the afternoon will be filled with fun and festivities including trunk-or-treating, a best decorated or carved pumpkin contest, space-walk, cake walk, games, face painting, desserts and food!

Boo on the Bayou Festival October 29 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Dumas Auditorium, Houma– We Inspire LA presents their 2nd annual Boo on the Bayou Festival, at. Come out for trick or treating, food, fun, games, and prizes!
