Three men are in custody of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office – accused of burglary in separate investigations.

In late October 2017, LPSO conducted an investigation into a business burglary where $2,500 had been taken from a Des Allemands business over the course of 14-separate break-ins which had started in mid-September 2017.

A subsequent investigation at the business in November resulted in Ronald Usea Jr., 48, of Des Allemands, being developed as a suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

This past Sunday, as part of a separate investigation, authorities were called to a house on La. Highway 1 in Raceland on a call of attempted burglary.

Upon arrival, deputies said they learned that a male subject attempted to burglarize two sheds and also that a burglary had occurred at a residence on Danos Street.

Yesterday, deputies were called to the same residence on La. Highway 1 in Raceland after a burglary alarm sounded in the shed.

While on scene, authorities said they observed an individual fitting the suspect’s description approximately 200 yards away.

The suspect, identified as Usea, attempted to flee on foot, but quickly surrendered to deputies.

Usea told deputies he cut the locks on the sheds and burglarizing the shed until the alarm sounded. He also allegedly admitted to the burglary at the house on Danos Street.

Authorities found a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession.

Usea was taken to the Lafourche Parish Jail and charged with 15 counts of simple burglary and one charge for a probation violation.

He was additionally charged with two more counts of simple burglary, two counts of attempted simple burglary and possession of methamphetamine.

His bond is set at $148,000, but he is not eligible to post that bond because of a hold by Louisiana Probation and Parole.

In a separate investigation, authorities were looking into two burglaries which had occurred at residences on Julie Street in Gray last week.

Detectives investigated the scene and developed Clint Price and Nicholas Domangue, both 22, of Gray, as suspects in that case, obtaining arrest warrants for both.

Authorities made contact with both Price and Domangue over the weekend and they were both arrested.

Each suspect is charged with two counts of simple burglary and bond is set at $40,000 for each.

Domangue is not eligible to post bond because of a hold by Louisiana Probation and Parole.
