Houma man arrested following disturbance complaint and resisting arrest

On January 01, 2024, the Houma Police Department responded to the area of Glenwood Drive in reference to a Hit and Run.  

 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim, at which time she stated her boyfriend, Treyon Marqui Williams, B/M, 31yrs old, and her were involved in a domestic dispute in which Williams requested to be taken to his mother’s residence. During the transportation to his mother’s residence, the victim stated she was able to escape Williams and fled in her vehicle with her 3 small children for safety.


 

Williams was able to obtain a vehicle and chased the victim, during which time he attempted multiple times to run the victim’s vehicle off of the roadway, at one point, causing the victim to crash into an electric pole. The victim, continued to elude Williams, but was struck once again by the vehicle Williams was in and crashed into a residence which contained an unsuspecting family.

 

Treyon was able to flee the area prior to the arrival of Police. Officers searched the area for the location of Treyon but unsuccessful. A warrant for the arrest of Treyon was obtained for: 

  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Attempted Second Degree Murder (9X)
  • Aggravated Criminal Damage to property
  • Hit and Run
  • Reckless operation of a vehicle

 

Below is surveillance of the hit and run incident.


 The Houma Police Department is requesting the public help in locating Williams for the above mention charges.
