A 34-year-old Cut Off man is in custody of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office after authorities allegedly found him in possession of a variety of narcotics and firearms.

On Thursday, agents with the Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force initiated a traffic stop on an SUV driven by Edward Domangue, 34, of Cut Off.

During a search of his vehicle, authorities discovered suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Agents later conducted a search at his residence where they allegedly located a variety of narcotics, firearms and ammo.

In all, authorities said they found 448 grams of marijuana, nine grams of THC wax, 208 doses of LSD, 13 doses of MDMA, .5 grams of methamphetamine, .5 grams of cocaine and several guns and about 5,000 rounds of ammunition.

Domangue allegedly admitted all of the items were his.

He’s charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and LSD, as well as possession of cocaine, MDMA, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He’s also charged with illegal carrying of a weapon in presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Authorities said the investigation is continuing and more charges are pending.
