Voylie T. Pontiff, 95, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
Mrs. Pontiff was a homemaker and worked in the Lafourche Parish school system in her later years. She liked working in her garden, going out to dinner, playing cards, taking trips and spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Ike) Twiddy; siblings, Doris Knight, Lois Walters and Edward Trosclair; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
