At 10:17pm, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced deputies and detectives were on scene in the Marydale community in Thibodaux due to a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday night at a large gathering.
As many as 5-6 were injured in the incident, shared Sheriff Webre with WDSU news. There are no fatalities at this time. The call was received around 9:30pm on Sunday night in the area of Hyland Drive.
This is an active investigation.
