TPSO Investigating Homicide in Johnson Ridge

Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s assistance in a homicide investigation in the Johnson Ridge Community. Sheriff Soignet advised that at approximately 8:30 p.m. on April 5, 2022, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives responded to the end of Livas Ln. in reference to a female that had been shot multiple times and passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Sheriff Soignet advised that Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives positively identified the deceased female as Selena Marquez (28 years of age). The investigation is in the early stages and no further details will be released at this time.
