A 62-year-old man is in custody of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly robbed the Little Caesar’s Pizza store on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Houma.

On May 26, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office was called in reference to an armed robbery at the local business.

Deputies were dispatched to the store and TPSO learned through crime stopper tips that the suspect allegedly lived on Pear Street.

Detectives patrolled the area and located a silver 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, which was allegedly a vehicle used in the incident.

Authorities questioned the driver, Thomas Rodenkirch, 62, residing at 309 Pear St., and he was arrested after the questioning.

He is charged with armed robbery.

TPSO said it wants to thank the public that called in the crime stopper’s tips for their assistance.
