Fresh off their November event for Toys for Tots in which they raised $1,500 for the Marine Corp League, Elite Championship Wrestling is back and ready to rumble this month.
This event, dubbed “Mardi Gras Madness,” will take place Jan. 22 at the Dumas Auditorium in Houma.
Featured in the card will be the first-ever Louisiana Heavyweight Champion “Sweet” Stan Sweetan, who won a 20-man, over the top rope battle royal to become the champion.
Also on the card will be Dynasty member The Dark Angel, who won the Light Heavyweight title at the November show.
This month’s event will feature Sweetan and his partner Marty Graw against Mike Kaos and Scott Phoenix in a tag team match.
Proceeds for the event will be split between TARC’s annual Mardi Gras Parade and the Marine Corp League.
The opening bell is 3 p.m. and tickets are only $10.
