Throughout May; Explore Bayou Lafourche by Boat (Thibodaux) at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center of Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve, 314 St. Mary St. On Sundays and Mondays, cruise to Madewood Plantation, a restored plantation home. The $28 price includes lunch in the formal dining room and a tour of the plantation. Tours leave at 10 a.m. and return at 2 p.m. On Saturdays, visit the E.D. White Historic Site, home of a former U.S. Supreme Court chief justice. The $10 trip includes a guided walk. The Lafourche leaves at 10 a.m. and returns at 12:30 p.m. Reservations are required.
