February 6, 2012At the Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site, at 12501 La. Highway 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Soldiers occupied the grounds at Rosedown and ravaged the house for supplies and luxuries. On this weekend, the 7th Louisiana will set up camp at Rosedown, perform drills, cook, play music and sew while the public has the opportunity to observe what a soldier’s life was like on an occupied plantation.
