Jan. 16: 11th Annual Chili Cookoff (Houma)

At the Terrebonne Livestock & Agricultural Building at the Houma Air Base, 221 Moffet Road, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. A live auction begins at 3 p.m. The entry fee to the event is $5. Brad Richard will perform from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Foret Tradition takes the stage from 6 to 10 p.m. The day’s fun includes food, fun, raffles, door prizes and all-day free chili.
