May 4, 2009At the Downtown Marina, from noon-5 p.m. Vessels from east and west Louisiana raft up to form a flotilla demarcating the front line in the battle to save America’s Wetland. Features live music by local celebrities, a boat parade, food, games and family fun on water and land. The event is open to the public. To participate in the flotilla, citizens are invited to decorate their boat or home. A prize will be awarded for the best decorated boat.
