Remember salt and pepper to taste in all recipes! Also, creaming in 2 tablespoons of butter at the end will add a rich creamy texture to all of these recipes.


Garlic Roasted Alfredo

Serves 4


Ingredients:


2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic


4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil


1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream


1 teaspoon Pillsbury Shake and Blend Flour


Directions:

Sautee garlic in olive oil about 3-4 minutes until just starting to brown. Add shrimp and Sautee until they are pink. When fully cooked, but not well done add heavy cream and parmigiano cheese. Whisk until blended smoothly on low heat. Add flour 1 teaspoon at a time until desired thickness is achieved.


New Orleans Style


Serves 4

Ingredients:


2lbs shrimp


1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil


3 multi colored bell peppers finely chopped


2 links of Andoulie sausage finely chopped

2 tablespoons green onion finely chopped


Directions:


Sautee garlic in oil about 3-4 minutes until just starting to brown. Add sausage and bell peppers, and green onions and cook until juices start to render from sausage, about 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until pink.

For another version of New Orleans Style, At the end of recipe add a jar of Gia Russa Gourmet Pasta Sauce..


For another version of New Orleans Style, Make it Italianeaux. By adding 1 cup of artichoke hearts and 1 cup of sun dried tomatoes.


Mexican Style

Serves 4


Ingredients:


2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic


4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil


1 teaspoon ground Cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder


1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder


1 teaspoon tomato paste

2 teaspoons soy sauce


1 teaspoon brown sugar


1 teaspoon finely chopped cilantro

Directions:


Sautee garlic in oil until just starting to brown. Add shrimp, immediately add cumin, chili powder, cayenne, tomato paste, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook on high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. When shrimp are fully cooked sprinkle with cilantro.


Oriental Style

Serves 4


Ingredients:


2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic


4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil


1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger root

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions:

Sautee garlic and ginger root in oil until just starting to brown. Add shrimp and cook until just starting to turn pink. Add soy sauce and sesame oil, finish cooking shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until they are pink.

Sicilian Diavolo

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

Sautee garlic and red pepper in oil for about 3-4 minutes add shrimp and cook until pink.

Top with parsley.

Tequila Lime

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil

1/2 cup of lime juice, approx. 6 limes

1/4 cup tequila

1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro

Directions:

Sautee garlic in oil until brown. Add tequila and lime juice and reduce until it becomes a syrup. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Finish with 1 teaspoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of tequila. Top with cilantro.

Italian Style

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil

1 /4 cup white wine

Juice of 4 large lemons

1 tablespoon flat Italian parsley

Directions:

Sautee garlic in oil until brown. Add wine and lemon juice and reduce until it becomes a syrup. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Top with parsley.

Middle Eastern Style

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2lbs shrimp

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tablespoons first cold pressed olive oil

1 teaspoon curry powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Directions:

Sautee garlic in oil until brown. Add shrimp curry, and turmeric and cook for about 5 minutes until shrimp are pink.
