Terrebonne library presents professional storyteller

Houma, La. – Professional storyteller Claudia Baumgarten will present her “Classic Fairytales” program for pre-school to elementary school-age children on Saturday, September 18 at 2 p.m. at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library. Ms. Baumgarten, an actress and costumer, will entertain as well as educated as she performs stories from folklore and fairy tales. Her past experiences include performing in Charlotte’s Web at Rivertown Repertory Theatre and costuming the cast of Wanna Play at Summer Stage’s Children Theater in New Orleans. Thanks to funding from the Houma Regional Arts Council and Friends of the Library, this program is possible.
