The Summer Reading Club “LOL” continues until July 24 at all library branches. Certificates and coupons for free eats will be given to children in pre-school – 6th grade who read 10 library books (or have 10 library books read to them if they cannot read yet). Also, nine lucky children in kindergarten through the 6th grade who complete the program will be entered in a drawing to win one of the bikes donated by the Houma Kiwanis Club and Friends of the Library. Weekly storytimes, craft workshops for children ages 4 and older, and professional performers will make you Laugh-Out-Loud all summer. T-shirts and book bags are available to purchase as part of the Friends of the Library fundraiser.
