Terrebonne General Medical Center has named its Employee of the Month for November.
The hospital announced this week that 30-year employee Theresa Rome has earned the award for her outstanding work in the patient financial services department and also as an analyst and nurse auditor.
TGMC said it names its employee of the month to recognize employees who demonstrate outstanding and constant commitment to the well-being of TGMC’s patients, their extended families and staff.
The Employee of the Month also makes it a priority to live TGMC’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare with compassion.
This month’s winner, Rome met all of that criteria. In her work, she ensures that TGMC offers the most competitive pricing for its patients, while also managing a complex billing database during the recent implementation of EPIC, an electronic medical record system.
Recently, Rome had to convert the former pricing system to the new and the transition was seamless.
