Reader: Raceland trio’s killer the real story

I am writing in reference to the article that was written about the triple homicide in Raceland last week.

I’ve read articles in the (local media) and watched the television news this past week. I’ve had just about enough of hearing about Brad Bourda’s, Terry Hester’s and Chauncy Adams’ past criminal histories. They were victims in this gruesome crime.

These three men were all sons, brothers and fathers who left behind loved ones trying to cope with broken hearts. Yet, all I keep seeing is their past being brought up over and over.

Brad and I have two children together. I should be helping (my children) deal with the loss of their daddy, not teaching them how to defend his name. No one is perfect, but no one deserves to be shot to death.

Instead of worrying about what Brad, Terry and Chauncy did when they were alive, let’s focus on finding who cut their lives short. Once again, they were the victims.
