With Mardi Gras right around the corner, the Lafourche Parish Public Library is excited to announce their Bayou Blue Branch’s 4th Annual Virtual Mardi Gras Shoebox Float Contest!
Participants ages 5-15 are invited to create a float from a shoebox and then snap a photo of their masterpiece! Email a photo of your float to bayoublue@lafourche.org between December 26, 2023 – January 26, 2024. Be sure to include your name and phone number, and your float name/theme.
Voting will take place on our Facebook page January 29 – February 2, 2024. Please note that this contest is open to kids ages 5-15 throughout the parish – you do not have to be a Bayou Blue patron to participate. All are welcome, so laissez les bons temps rouler and get crafting!
