Cassidy Announces $1 Million for Terrebonne Library in Hurricane Ida Relief

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced $1,075,803.19 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Ida relief. Terrebonne Parish will receive the federal funding for building repairs to the main branch library in Houma as a direct result of the hurricane.

“The destruction brought on by Hurricane Ida was no match for the strength and resilience of Louisianans,” said Dr. Cassidy.“This funding will aid in the continued recovery of our communities and better prepare us for future storms.”
