Curtis Lloyd Falgout, 22, of Bayouside Dr., Chauvin, was arrested Wednesday at 1:55 a.m. after he drove his vehicle into a fence, a Houma Police spokesman said.
Lt. Todd Duplantis said officers were called to the 400 block of Apache Drive after a caller notified police. The officers found Falgout’s 1996 Toyota Camry lodged in a brick fence of a residence, he said.
Police arrested the Chauvin man and charged him with DWI. At the Houma Police Department, a chemical test for intoxication was administered, and the final results showed Falgout’s blood alcohol concentration was higher than the legal limit, Duplantis said.
With that information, Falgout was then charged with DWI (second offense) and reckless operation of a vehicle, the spokesman said. He was transported to the Terrebonne Parish Jail pending release on bond.
