Senator baffled by Obama’s view on La. oil
July 1, 2010The “Our Home, Louisiana” Coalition is sponsoring several “Coastal Care Fairs” around southeastern Louisiana, including a few in the Tri-Parish area.
These fairs will feature free health screenings, entertainment and activities for children, employment resources, local United Way agencies, stress management workshops and mental and health counseling.
All fairs are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Lafourche Parish Library, South Lafourche Branch at 16241 E. Main St., Cut Off will hold one Wednesday, July 7.
The Terrebonne Parish Main Library at 151 Library Drive, Houma will hold one Thursday, July 8.
The Morgan City Municipal Auditorium at 728 Myrtle Street, Morgan City will hold one Tuesday, July, 13.
The Terrebonne Parish Library, East Houma Branch at 778 Grand Caillou Road, Houma will hold one Tuesday, July 27.
Radio Disney representatives will dance, sing and play with children and fair participants can enter for the grand prize: a trip to Dallas, Texas to experience a dress rehearsal performance of the Jonas Brothers live in concert with special guest Demi Lovato and the cast of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”
The winner will be selected after the final “Coastal Care Fair” on Friday, July 30, in Boothville.
