Halloween is just around the corner and Comcast employees helped the families residing at a Candlewood Suites due to Hurricane Ida get into the spirit. The front-line employees hosted a ‘Truck or Treat’ event to benefit children and their families who were impacted by the storm.

Several dozen Comcast front-line employees parked their trucks, lights on, in the hotel parking lot and handed out candy to trick-or-treaters. In addition, several Comcast employees wore costumes and decorated their trucks to make it a special evening.

“These last few months have been difficult for Houma residents, so we wanted to make sure that local children did not miss out on Halloween this year,” said Dan Matherne, a Houma-based Technical Operations manager who is also living at the hotel and participated in the event. “We are also grateful to those Comcast employees, many of whom were living in the Candlewood Suites, who traveled from Atlanta and other markets to support our restoration efforts after Hurricane Ida.”
