Fletcher Technical Community College will host the 5th annual Chancellor’s Breakfast on Thursday, December 9, for 7:39 a.m. at the Main Campus Atrium located at 1407 HWY 311, Schriever, LA 70395. During the breakfast Fletcher Community College Chancellor Dr. Kristine Strickland will discuss the history of the institution and give updates to community supporters on recent accomplishments as well as future endeavors.

Executive Director and Vice Chancellor Chancellor Chandler LeBeouf says the event is an opportunity for networking amongst partners who support the college and want to know more about the institution. “It’s an opportunity for us to bring our business and industry partners and community leaders to join Fletcher to celebrate the institution’s yearly success and it’s an opportunity for our Chancellor to speak about the accomplishments and what’s on the horizon for Fletcher’s growth.”

LeBeouf says the purpose of the breakfast is to host a fundraiser for the college that focuses on bringing those partners together, garnering their support for scholarships, and giving back to the institution in a way that allows Fletcher to capture the audience and talk about the state and future of the college.

“Based on the level of sponsorship that an individual organization may sponsor there’s an opportunity to create scholarships at a certain level. The funds go into our scholarship fund where we assist students in the spring with their education and help offset some of the expenses they may have” LeBeouf added.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
