The new Galliano Government Complex housing the Office of Community Action and other agencies opened Monday morning. The complex is located in Suite B of the South Lafourche Library building along La. Highway 308, just north of the South Lafourche Bridge in Galliano.

Community Action joins the offices of the nonprofit Les Reflections du Bayou and Lafourche Parish District Attorney Cam Morvant, who opened offices at the new location last week.

The Galliano Government Complex will eventually house offices for the clerk of court, registrar of voters and the assessor.

Offices for Veterans Affairs representatives and elected officials will also be located in the complex.

Visitors to the facility should enter through the main entrance to the South Lafourche Library and proceed towards the double wooden doors on the left.
