Halloween in Thursday night, but locals may need to pack an umbrella, because it’s supposed to be wet.

Forecasts for the next several days are rainy as another front sweeps through the area – a front which is then expected to lift Gulf moisture up to shore.

The next three days are expected to be wet with 70-80 percent chances of rain. Long-term models say we could get 3-4 inches of rain over the next 48-72 hours, which could make Halloween plans dicey.

In years past, trick or treat enforcement times have been altered to accommodate weather, but no altercations have been made to the schedule as of Tuesday morning.

After Thursday, we’re going to get our first taste of winter with low temperatures dipping into the 40s.
