It’s the most wonderful time of the year and with less than two weeks from the big day, retailers across the country are urging shoppers to send off their gifts to avoid shipping delays.
FedEx, UPS, and USPS have all released their deadlines for holidays and packages to arrive by Christmas Day. Urging customers to send off their holiday packages earlier rather than later.
“We are ready and positioned to have a successful peak season,” reads a statement released from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy. “Americans should feel confident sending their holiday cards, mail and packages with the Postal Service. There is a spirit of excitement throughout the organization and our entire team is ready to deliver the holidays for the nation.”
If you want your holiday packages to arrive on time, here are the deadlines you need to know.
2021 Holiday Shipping Dates for USPS:
The United States Postal Service recommends the following deadlines for holiday shipping in all states, Alaska and Hawaii excluded:
