Two Houma Police task force officers stopped at a local gas station for a soft drink got more than they bargained for Tuesday night.

According to department spokesman Lt. Todd Duplantis David M. Wall, 33, a homeless man, approached the officers and offered to sell them illegal narcotics at a gas station in the 8000 block of Park Avenue. The spokesman said the officers placed Wall under arrest, but he began to resist. A police Taser was used to subdue the man, Duplantis said.

Hall was charged with three counts of distribution of CDS IV and resisting an officer. He was transported to the Terrebonne Parish Jail.
