Louisiana Highway 1 will be closed between Jackson Street and West 2nd Sunday, Oct. 17, by the Public Works Department for required water distribution line work.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. and will take approximately six hours to complete.
To avoid this location, motorists are asked to consider alternate routes via LA 308. Normal traffic flow on LA Hwy 1 will resume once the work is complete.
