October 28, 2010Lafourche Parish Government is asking parish residents to “Be Air Aware” by following a list of air-awareness practices geared toward raising the air quality locally.
LPG asks that residents postpone yard work until the cooler hours of the day, reduce unnecessary uses of power in the household, limit the use of flammable fluids, avoid driving practices that increase emissions, such as slamming the gas or brakes and driving with little fuel in the tank, and choose alternative transportation.
