Today, the Louisiana Department of Health is reporting the total number of cases has risen to 254,562. That’s 2,429 more cases since yesterday. 238,676 are confirmed; 15,886 are probable.

 

The state is reporting 45 new deaths, bringing the total to 6,652 deaths. 6,363 are confirmed; 289 are probable.

 

The total of presumed recovered as of 11/30/20 is 202,891, which is 10,403 more than last week.


 

Lafourche Parish is reporting 5,153 cases. There are 4,631 confirmed and 522 probable. That’s 49 new cases since Sunday. They are reporting 144 deaths; 138 are confirmed and 6 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 38.6% from the week prior, which was 5.70%.

 

Terrebonne Parish is reporting 4,906 cases. There are 4,590 confirmed and 316 probable. That’s 82 more cases since Sunday. They are reporting 140 deaths; 135 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 54.9% from the week prior, which was 5.20%. Total recovered is 3,764 as of 11/25/20.

 

Statewide, there are 1,516 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 165 are on ventilators. That’s 124 more patients since Sunday, and 3 more on ventilators.


 

The total of tests reported today is 3,760,929, which is 32,084 more tests than yesterday. There are 3,631,500 molecular tests and 129,429 antigen tests.

 

There have been a total of 68,339 tests in Lafourche (64,753 molecular and 3,586 antigen) and 65,995 tests in Terrebonne (63,657 molecular and 2,338 antigen). That’s 763 more tests in Lafourche and 869 more in Terrebonne since Sunday.
