August 13, 2013The Louisiana Housing Alliance’s Listening Tour stops in Houma Aug. 28.
The statewide coalition strives to ensure quality, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income residents and those with special needs. The aim of the tour is to discuss state and regional housing priorities and to build regional coalitions.
“It is important that Louisiana citizens come out and let their voice be heard,” Marla Y. Newman, executive director of LHA, said in a release. “The annual Listening Tour is a critical time for LHA to hear how we an make our state’s housing policies work for all Louisiana residents and communities.”
