Insurance commissioner to speak at Chamber luncheon

Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon will be the guest speaker at the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Thursday.

Donelon will speak to concerns regarding one of the biggest challenges facing businesses and residents of the region n the soaring cost of insurance.

The buffet luncheon will be held at the Thibodaux Civic Center Plantation Room beginning at 11:30 a.m. The menu includes hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, corn, peas, salad and iced tea. The cost per person is $18 for member and $25 for non-members.
