Insurance seminar for business set for tomorrow

A seminar on the types of insurance needed for small businesses will be held on Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library.

The session will be conducted by Irby Burleigh and Melissa Harris with Allstate insurance and representatives from the Louisiana Department of Insurance’s Office of Consumer Advocacy.

Topics covered will be commercial auto, property liability, specialty insurance programs, supplemental insurance for the workplace, new companies, and the role of the Office of Consumer Advocacy.

The seminar is geared toward small business owners, managers, human resources personnel, prospective business owners and anyone needing information on insurance procedures.
